Hi, I didn’t make it to church today because of a migraine. I found a great set of videos (parts 1 & 2) with John Piper teaching on the book of Job, which I think are winners. So the migraine turned out to be a blessing… a merciful gift in an ugly package! Each video is over an hour. I highly recommend watching them when you have time. Something this book teaches that really rings true or hits home… is that suffering, in any way, opens your eyes and ears to a greater knowledge of God. Have a nice night :)

I am sorry about your Migraines I use to get them so I know how you must of felt. You are the second person whose blog I read about this man I am going to have to listen to at least one of his sermons, they say he is radical. maybe next week because I don’t have my grandson to watch so it will free me up to listen to this man so I can get some idea of who he is.

Hi Desiray, you will be glad you watched. He picks the book apart and you will receive many insights. I am glad I found these. John Piper is one of my new favorite teachers :)

As for the migraines… thank you. To anyone reading this… my friend bought me Magnesium Gel (you can buy some at a health store) because the price of Zomig skyrocketed. Zomig is the only med which takes my migraines away. I just put a small amount of gel on my arm everyday and rub it in so it dissolves. There is something there with Magnesium Gel, because it dramatically decreased the amount of migraines I get. Try it, what can you lose? A small bottle costs about 11.00.
