I want to be an encouragement to you today… I also want to be one to myself. I would like you to take a minute and step back from whatever is going on this moment in your life and have a long, hard look at things. Do you remember asking God for a certain something? A gift or a quality you’ve been praying for, for so long? We all have mountains or “valleys of death,” and often they are people and things that seem to block the development and progress of our spiritual life.
Maybe you’re asking God to remove whatever it is that hinders you? We tend to think if these things were removed, we would be in a better place spiritually; that these hindrances would make our lives so much better. WRONG!!! These conditions have been put in our lives to develop the qualities of character we long for. Maybe you prayed for more patience or for more humility – we tend to run away from anything that begins to test our endurance, the same endurance we beg God to give us! The only way patience or any other sterling characteristic trait is gained by enduring the very trials that seem so unbearable today.
Hope is screaming… “You can make it!” You, my friend are stronger than you think. Turn from running and face your trials with Jesus in the driver’s seat. There is nothing in your life that is too big for Him. Remember they are God’s mountains. He puts them there for a reason, and we know He will never fail to keep His promises…
“Who is the King of glory? The LORD, strong and mighty; the LORD, invincible in battle.” Psalm 24:8
So when we come to the foot of the mountain, we will find our way

It’s my passion to write about my personal experiences to make you realize that Almighty God is indeed in the intricate details of your life. Mostly I am here to share things I’ve learned so far in my “race of faith” with you. I am here to encourage you, and let you know that there is hope...

Reading this encouraged me – Thanks Lori.
Praise the Lord, Phyllis!
When we take off our eyes on the obstacle in life and place them on the Lord then it is removed and cast into the sea!
Blessings
Hi Yvette, always great to hear from you
Thanks for your comment, God bless!
Love, love love!! Especially the line, “Hope is screaming… “You can make it!””
And endurance (fortitude) develops maturity of [a]character (approved faith and [b]tried integrity). And character [of this sort] produces [the habit of] [c]joyful and confident hope of eternal salvation. ~ Romans 5:4 AMP
