Just a quick encouragement for you today – it just so happens that whatever thing that is in your life today causing you to stumble… causing the pain… causing the disappointment… causing the grief, is most likely the very thing God is using to give you a great victory. In other words it’s the catalyst for triumph. But first, you need to stumble… you need the pain… you need the disappointment … because that’s how we grow. Make sense? Consider this…
“Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” Romans 8: 37
“But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.” Genesis 50: 20
Those things that fight against us actually help us. If we allow them to, thorns can become our servants.
“So the LORD blessed Job in the second half of his life even more than in the beginning. For now he had 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 teams of oxen, and 1,000 female donkeys.” Job 42: 12
“And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12: 9
