If God brings you to it, He will get you through it. Do you believe that? Do you reallybelieve that?

“Though I am surrounded by troubles, you will protect me from the anger of my enemies. You reach out your hand, and the power of your right hand saves me.

The Lord will work out his plans for my life–for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever. Don’t abandon me, for you made me.” Psalm 138: 7-8

I know that for many of us, life seems to be like a tornado. Things are constantly being swept up into a great wind, where the storm is raging all around. But just like the eye of a tornado, there is safe place where peace reigns. This is where God is. He’s right-smack in the middle of your storm. “Though I am surrounded by troubles, you will protect me…”

We all try to make plans for our lives. Specific plans. When those plans get rained on time after time, we can become defeated and desperate for answers. This is coming from someone who has been there, and at times still revisits there… sometimes we are called to ride out the storm. No matter how scary and dangerous the storm looks, as we persevere and make our way through, God meets us in the middle. He strengthens us with His amazing grace, and the next thing we realize is that storm has made us strong! And each storm makes us stronger, and soon we, just like Paul… we learn how to be content in any storm that comes, because we know God is there! He has His ways of working His plans for your life. His plans are good.

He alone knows what is best for each one of us. One thing I’ve learned is that we can never assume the grass is greener on the other side. What I mean by that is that we can never look at someone else’s life, and think life has not been as hard on them as it’s been on you. God is preparing each one of us for something different. If you are a child of God, life is not going to be a bed of roses. That’s guaranteed…

“My child, don’t make light of the Lord’s discipline,
and don’t give up when he corrects you.
For the Lord disciplines each one he accepts as his child.” Hebrews 12: 5-6

I hope you all had a great Resurrection day! Just want to tell you that I love you, and Jesus loves you trillions of times more!
