… I won’t forget nor have I forgot.   All things work according to my plan.  When you can’t hear my voice; just trust in that plan.”

That’s a tall order sometimes, a really TALL order.  We live in a crazy world.  We live in a broken world.  But we need to keep remembering something and we’ll forever be Ok, even when it seems the floor beneath us bottoms out…

The unfailing love of the Lord lasts forever!

“I will rescue those who love Me.  I will protect those who trust in My name.” Ps 91: 14

That’s one of God’s gazillion promises.  We have to keep these words before us.  We can even remind Him of His promise; I think God likes us to remind Him of His Word.  It would do our hearts good also to remember this… Our faith is still immature and incomplete if we have yet to learn that God’s Sovereignty works through loss, that He no doubt will make a message – a ministry – out of our mess.  It is something that has been allowed so we could learn that our hope and help are only in Almighty God.

I once read somewhere that “the ripest fruit grows against the roughest wall, and trouble never comes to someone unless it brings a nugget of gold in its hand.”  Oh, but how difficult it is growing fruit when we’re up against a rough wall!  Amen?  We have a God who promises us that adversity will ultimately become an advantage for us.  I believe that, I really do.  But I also know that it will only be transformed into an advantage if we are willing to keep serving and to wait patiently.  There’s many blessings that only come from accepting and enduring suffering…

“… that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death…”  Philippians 3: 10

Be encouraged through it all, my friends.  I believe this to be prophecy/encouragement from the mouth of God.  It was given to my friend, Tokkie Van Wyk…

My beloved, it is impossible to know ME without entering into MY life’s experiences. When you love someone dearly, your desire is for them to share in your joys and your precious treasures. But to really love and to truly share, one must enter the valley of pain together with those whom you love. You must weep together and be rejected together. That is why MY children in the prisons and torture chambers of the world know ME like none of MY other children. To reject suffering only proves you lack of knowing an understanding ME. Because I love you and want to draw you even closer to ME, I have permitted you to fellowship with ME in suffering. For I have much glory and much blessing still in store for you.
