“Then I was beside Him as a master craftsman. And I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him, rejoicing in His inhabited world, And my delight was with the sons of men.” (NKJV)

“I was the architect at his side. I was his constant delight, rejoicing always in his presence. And how happy I was with the world he created; how I rejoiced with the human family!” (NLT)

I love discovering new things in the Word. I mean… I love when scriptures that I’ve read many times before take on a different meaning, and we see things in a different light. Can anyone say amen to that? Remember when we studied the Proverbs, and how they always referred back to one thing? It was always shouting in the streets and building a strong foundation in anyone who harkened to her? That would be Wisdom.

Both of the above verses are different translations of Proverbs 8: 30-31. One can look at these verses in Proverbs as a fulfilled prophecy! It just amazes me how God inspired these words to come out of Solomon’s mouth thousands of years ago! This Wisdom is Jesus Himself, and he was predicting how full of joy He would be when the sons of men (us) would be reconciled through Him… how we who turn to Him, would have an intimate relationship and rejoice with Him!

Just some of my thoughts. I’m hoping you have a great weekend:)
