I’d like to take a minute and tell you what has been on my heart for a while, and I think I am going to step out in faith and just begin doing it. I’m talking about my memoir, “A Blessing in the Storm…MD messed up my life and made me whole.” It’s a great story…It’s my story of how through this illness, I was radically changed into a woman of God.
I have been tossing around the idea, and praying about getting this story out soon by making it available as an Ebook. There is a publisher interested, but they are not sure of when the book can be released. The manuscript has been sitting for well over a year, and I really believe that someone out there, if not many, need to hear my story.
And I think this is a God thing…
On my blog profile, this is written: “I had no desire to write. Someone wise told me that submitting to this (submitting to God) is what I should do, and see what happens. Well, you can see what happened! He has turned it all around. Can’t wait to see the miracles that will happen as He inspires me to write.”
Well that same “someone wise” is also a writer. She just self-published her book, which is also a story of tragedy to triumph. This is how she signed the book I bought from her: “Lori, God has called you to the ministry of writing. He’s already blessed your work. MOVE FORWARD!” So I’m going to move forward with this, knowing once I take the first step God will make the next step clear to me.
Because of all the work involved with web design, and everything involved with getting an Ebook done, I won’t be able to devote as much time as I usually do to posting on this blog. But I will still try to post three times a week. Also to my blogger friends: For awhile it’s going to be slow,as far as visiting and posting comments on your blogs. But I love you, and I thank God for bringing all of you into my life…and that goes for you reading this as well!
So, with that said…off I go!
