First let me say this is something every blood-bought child of God knows.  Yet it’s something that rang loudly through my mind that makes it so huge.  It puts things back into the right perspective.

Allow me to speak to those of us that have been going through God’s scorching hot, refining fire.  I think about all the hell I’ve been through.  Not sugar-coating anything.  It truly has been a living nightmare TO MY FLESH.  And for my fellow cave dwellers and wilderness friends, I know that what you’ve been through has been a living nightmare too, for better words… A CRUELTY TO YOUR FLESH.  There have been times when all I could do was scratch my head and simply confess I was His child.  In other words, “Is this how you treat your children, God?”  I hope this little revelation I’ve had helps you stand stronger, as it has done that for me…

Read john 3:16 again…

“For God so loved the world He gave His only Begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.”

Again we know this, but as I was reflecting on God seeing me through things and thanking Him for not allowing me to look like what I’ve been through, it occurred to me that God has been so faithful to me.  I’m not talking about a breakthrough in my trials.  I’m talking about how Our Father has allowed all the hardships and heartache to trample upon me.  Really take this to heart… God just stood by as His Son was brutally crucified.  He felt His Son’s anguish, let alone how His heart was breaking as He witnessed the suffering His beloved Son endured on that cross.

God knew that by allowing this mankind would be reconciled back to Him.  That’s amazing love.

My hardships, even though they were the greatest blow to my flesh, resulted in His life residing in my spirit.   And it’s the same with you.  That’s great news.  What an awesome song about this…
