Wow, I thought we we’re going to talk more about pride, but I have to go where the Spirit leads, and I believe we need to switch gears…A proud attitude happens to be at the top of the list. For now, I guess we’ll be focusing on the seven things God hates:
“These six things the Lord hates—Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:
A proud look,
A lying tongue,
Hands that shed innocent blood,
A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that are swift in running to evil,
A false witness who speaks lies,
And one who sows discord among brethren.” Proverbs 6: 16-19
I want to try something new, and I don’t know how this will work…I’m going to invite anyone who is reading this to tell me and the rest of the readers how pride, or any of these six other things were used by God to bring about something good. Just like Romans 8:28 promises,
“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them.”
