I have so much to be thankful for… I am very thankful for the people God put in front of me, whether through books I’ve read or sermons I’ve heard, to help give me the perspective of God in my suffering. Some of those people are Joni Eareckson-Tada, David Ring, Os Hillman, Steve Kreloff, and David Wilkerson (to name a few).

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” 2 Corinthians 1: 3-4

I am a slave of Jesus Christ, and I know without a doubt that it is my job to pass on everything I’ve learned –  everything that has comforted me. That’s why I write. That’s why I blog. I know that I am nothing without Jesus. I’d like to repost this, because perhaps some of you are hungry for God’s truth on the subject of suffering. Perhaps you have a loved one who is suffering, and just want to understand more about that. If so, take time to watch and listen to one of the best sermons I’ve heard on the topic of suffering, preached by David Wilkerson (Times Square Church New York)…

ALSO, here is another powerful video/sermon by Joni Eareckson-Tada, titled “Suffering for the Sake of”
