You all know the song You Are My Sunshine...
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are grey
You’ll never know dear, how much I love you
Please don’t take my sunshine away
It seems that I don’t have much godly encouragement – which I crave.But that’s ok – God has taught me how to feed myself on the meat of His Word.I came across these words Paul wrote to Timothy, “”The first time I was brought before the judge, no one came with me.Everyone abandoned me.But the Lord stood with me and gave me strength…”(2 Timothy 4:16-17)
I immediately thought of this song.
Later on, I was paging through a catalog; it was a catalog full of art prints and different things to enhance your home.I couldn’t believe it…I saw a sign that said, “You Are My Sunshine.”
I started singing that song over and over, and thought, “Yes, God is indeed in the details.”
